Microlearning Module
Building Better Work-Life Balance
Project Overview
Introduction
This microlearning module was created as a concept project to demonstrate my ability to design clear, learner-friendly experiences using Rise 360. The topic—healthy work-life balance—was selected for its broad relevance and to show how short, supportive learning can promote personal reflection and practical application.
My Role
I developed the module independently, creating all content, layout, and learner flow. The design is clean and self-paced, offering quick tips and a final reflective prompt to help learners consider how they might improve their own balance between work and life.
Design Approach
Content Focus & Tone
The topic of work-life balance was selected to demonstrate how microlearning can be used to deliver practical, everyday concepts in a supportive and encouraging tone. I aimed to make the content approachable and calming—providing helpful tips without overwhelming the learner. The tone reflects the nature of the topic itself: thoughtful, clear, and sustainable.
Structure & Pacing
The course was structured in a simple, linear format using Rise 360. Learners are introduced to the concept of work-life balance, then guided through short sections featuring actionable tips. The module ends with a reflective prompt, encouraging learners to identify one small change they could make to improve their own routine. The pacing is light, with a focus on user autonomy and quick completion.
Visual Showcase
This microlearning module was built in Rise 360 and designed to be simple, calming, and mobile-friendly. Learners can move through the course at their own pace, take in quick wellness tips, and reflect on practical ways to apply what they’ve learned.

Conclusion
This project showcases my ability to design thoughtful, learner-centered microlearning using Rise 360. While the topic is intentionally light and supportive, the structure and delivery reflect core principles of effective learning—clarity, simplicity, and reflection. It also demonstrates my ability to build complete, self-directed modules that prioritize the learner experience in both tone and design.
